FOSTER
Horses come to the rescue from many different circumstances.  We do not always know the history or amount of training and handling each animal.
 
Until we have some insight into each horse, we will not attempt to place a horse.  When a horse is adopted, our sincerest hope is that they go to a "forever" home.  With that in mind, we try our best to be sure the adoptor is getting the best match for their situation.

This isn't always possible right away.  Some horses need more time and handling. 
As the Ranch fills up, allowing horses to be fostered to qualified homes is a win/win situation for the horse, the Ranch, and hopefully, the foster home.

SPONSORSHIPS

             We have many different types of sponsorships to meet everyone’s particular situation.  First and foremost, please do not commit to give more than you can comfortably handle.  Any and all donations are accepted with much gratitude.  Sponsors can be for a one time amount or  monthly donations.  All sponsors have the choice of selecting an animal on their own or allowing us to select the most needy.  Each sponsor will receive an 8 x 11 picture of their special friend.

At this time, donations can be mailed to the rescue.  We hope to have a PayPal account in the near future!

ADOPTION
(A FOREVER HOME)
    Our hope, for all of the animals that come to the Ranch, is a "FOREVER HOME".  

With that goal in mind, we screen each animal to the best of our ability.  We want to know their level of training, ground manners, quirks, and vices.  We do our best to match those qualities with the applicants request. 

Rescue animals have all of the same potential as any that are purchased.  Each has its strengths and weaknesses.  Some are timid, some are brave, and many are very appreciative of kindness.  It is up to the person to find the potential and use, as with any other horse. 

If you apply for a certain horse and find it isn't the horse for you, for whatever reason, the horse must come back to the rescue.  We will gladly try to find one that fits better.
